Kia’s latest ccNC & ccNC Lite infotainment system integrates three displays stretching across the dashboard – a 12.3-inch driver cluster, 5.3-inch climate control screen and 12.3-inch central touchscreen. (1) Electric rangeThe stated all-electric range of up to 453 km applies to the Front Wheel Drive variant of the EV2 equipped with the 61 kWh battery only. Figures are based on latest available data.

Please note that the maximum AER figure is determined by the specific trim and wheel type of each EV2 variant, among other factors, and that the following figures apply: an all-electric range of up to 308 km (18” wheels) and 317 km (16” wheels).

The range was determined according to the standardized EU measurement procedure (WLTP). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.

(2)  Kia battery unitsKia high voltage lithium-ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. For EV, HEV and PHEV, Kia guarantees that a high voltage battery will retain at least 80% capacity for a period of 5 years from the initial registration or 100,000 km, whichever comes first and at least 70% capacity for a period of 8 years from the initial registration or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.

Low voltage battery for supporting engine start is covered by Kia warranty for a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. (3)  Battery charging timeIn order to achieve the maximum charging speed, the EV2 must be connected to a suitable high-power 400-volt DC charging station. The additional driving range gained after 15 minutes of charging depends on different factors including the current state of charge of the battery, battery temperature and the charger used. It is also defined by the individual driving style and energy consumption.

(4)  V2G and V2H capabilitiesVehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capabilities are subject to availability depending on market, local regulations, and compatible infrastructure. Additional equipment and services may be required. Kia makes no guarantee regarding the availability, functionality or performance of these features in all regions.

(6)  Over-the-Air (OTA) updates & Kia UpgradesNew vehicles equipped with OTA-enabled navigation software benefit from a free trial period during which Over-the-Air updates for maps and infotainment software are provided at no additional cost. After the trial ends, further OTA updates can be accessed either via https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or through a Kia dealership. Availability of OTA updates may vary by model and region.Additional features, services and content described as “Kia Upgrades” may be available for purchase separately via the Kia Connect Store, accessible through the Kia App.
